Almenland Cup - July

The Almenland Cup - July is the second tournament in the 2026 Almenland Cup series, held at Golfclub Almenland in Passail on Saturday, 18 July 2026. The event is an 18-hole Stableford competition, handicap-relevant (WHI), and open to amateur golfers who are members of clubs affiliated with the Austrian Golf Union (ÖGV) or an equivalent foreign national association, with a maximum handicap of 54.0. Entry is open to both members and guests. The entry fee is €33 for members (€43 for Start Plus and weekday members) and €60 for guests. An additional €7 fee applies for entry into the Hole in One competition on hole 11. Registration closes one day before the tournament at 12:00, either online via golf.at, by email to office@almenlandgolf.at, or by phone at 03179/27799. Tee times are allocated by handicap, with men playing from yellow and white tees and women from red and yellow tees. A CR adjustment is applied for the gross competition due to tee selection options. Players are divided into three groups (A, B, C) based on handicap, with flight requests considered at the discretion of the competition committee. Maximum 144 participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waiting list maintained. The tournament features a headline Hole in One prize on hole 11 – a Mercedes A-Class valued at €30,369 – awarded among all Hole in Ones achieved across the three Almenland Cup tournaments of 2026. Additional prizes are awarded for gross and net competitions, as well as special classifications including Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, and Nearest to the Line for both men and women. Participants receive breakfast (offered by the club's ladies team), halfway refreshments from Gasthaus Donner, and a meal at the Postwirt restaurant after the tournament, followed by a prize-giving ceremony. Only winners present at the prize-giving receive prizes; absent winners may have their prizes reallocated or drawn among participants. The event is played under the official Rules of Golf by R&A Rules Ltd., including the Amateur Status Rules, according to the ÖGV rulebook, competition regulations, and valid course rules.
