The 2026 Fish & Golf is a two-day event held at Grand View Lodge. Day 1 (Saturday, September 26) features a 6-hour fishing tournament on Gull Lake with a 10:00 AM start and weigh-ins at 4:00 PM. Points are awarded based on species and total weight. A dinner and results announcement follows at Freddy's Sports Grill. Day 2 (Sunday, September 27) is a 3-person scramble golf tournament at The Pines (Woods-Marsh tees) with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. Lunch and awards are held at Freddy's after the golf. The entry fee is $250 per person, and teams must have all 3 places filled to register. Tees are assigned by gender and age: Men play from Blue, Men 60+ from White, and Women from Red. The Garden Course at Grand View Lodge is a 9-hole, par 35 course originally created in the 1930s, located in Nisswa, Minnesota. The course is situated on the main grounds of the historic Grand View Lodge resort, within easy walking distance of the Historic Main Lodge, Italian Gardens Restaurant, beach, and Glacial Waters Spa. The Garden features oversized 6-inch cups and kid's tee boxes, making it specifically designed as a family-friendly course that emphasizes leisurely play rather than championship challenge. Due to its accessible layout and resort location, the course serves as a relaxing complement to Grand View Lodge's other championship courses, The Pines and The Preserve. The Garden is considered the "feel good" course at Grand View, designed for bringing families together or enjoying time with friends. It remains a popular attraction at the resort for guests seeking a quick, entertaining round of golf in a scenic Minnesota setting.
