The 2026 Leach Mixed Golf Tournament, sponsored by Tim Hortons, Jean Coutu and Hatheway Auto Group, takes place on August 15 and 16, 2026 at Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club. The tournament features shotgun starts at 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM on both days. Players who play on Saturday morning will play on Sunday afternoon, and those on Saturday afternoon will play on Sunday morning. The entry fee is $75 plus tax for members and $140 plus tax for non-members. The fee includes a practice round, two tournament rounds, a meal on Saturday, and access to great prizes. Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole course located on the shores of Bathurst Harbour in the Bay of Chaleur. The layout features challenging holes that demand precision and strategic play. Notable holes include the par-five 2nd, a 488-yard straightaway bordered by bunkers and water hazard that plays longer than its length suggests, with a severely sloped green prone to three-putts. The par-three 15th is described as an exquisite hole similar to Pebble Beach's 7th, featuring a postage stamp-sized green surrounded by deep pot bunkers and typically affected by stiff winds requiring accuracy. The par-four 9th presents a difficult dogleg left with trouble on both sides and a green perched on a knoll guarded by a front bunker with sharp front-to-back slope. The course's waterfront setting and challenging design make it suitable for hosting tournaments accommodating 4 to 200 players, along with banquet and wedding facilities.
