The Nanaimo Men's Amateur Tournament is an annual 3-day individual stroke-play competition held at Nanaimo Golf Club. The 2026 edition runs from Wednesday August 5 to Saturday August 8, 2026. The tournament features a practice round on Wednesday, three competitive rounds from Thursday to Saturday, and a championship round on Saturday. It includes an Overall Flight and 4 handicap flights with a maximum field of 208 players. A maximum handicap of 18 is permitted for scoring and net prizing. The entry fee includes 3 rounds of golf, 3 dinner meals, 3 beer & burger meals, 3 pop/water beverages, and daily lunch. Prizes include gross and net awards for 1st through 5th place in each flight, with a total prize table exceeding $15,000. Additional side competitions include a Long Drive Competition for players only, a Horserace by invitation, and a Chip-Over-The-Pond event open to players, family, and guests. Entry is via Golf Genius online registration with payment by NGC member account charge or credit card. The tournament is open to amateur male golfers from clubs across Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and internationally.
