The Men's Winter Scramble Open is a team scramble competition held at Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club. Teams of four players compete in a Texas Scramble format from the White Tees. The event is open to men who hold a WHS handicap from a UK golf club, with a playing handicap limit of 24. Handicap allowances are 25%, 20%, 15%, and 10% applied from the lowest to highest playing handicap within each team. Players must have completed at least three competition rounds in the last 12 months to be eligible for prizes. Entry includes a coffee and bacon roll before play. The entry fee is £15.00 per member (all team places must be filled by members) or £40.00 per visitor. Online signup is available and closes at 5:00 pm on 7 October 2026. Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club is Somerset's oldest golf course, founded in 1882 and still playing on its original layout.
