Bramley Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in the Surrey Hills countryside, approximately two miles south of Guildford in Surrey. Established in 1913, the course was designed by five-times Open Champion James Braid and offers stunning views across Surrey's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The course plays to a par of 69 (72 for women) and presents a challenging layout suitable for golfers of all abilities. Key characteristics include well-maintained greens, strategically positioned bunkers and water hazards, and fairly demanding rough. The course design rewards accurate shot-making, with off-line drives potentially creating scoring difficulties. Set within beautiful rolling Surrey Hills terrain, the course features interesting challenges throughout its layout. Bramley Golf Club is member-owned and operated, known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The club has comprehensive facilities including function rooms available for events, a professional coaching team, and an indoor swing studio, making it a well-rounded golf destination beyond its course offering.
