Millicent Golf Club is an 18-hole USGA specification championship course located in Clane, County Kildare, less than 30 minutes from Dublin. Set within the Ryder Cup countryside, the 150-acre course is situated alongside the River Liffey with views of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. The course features undulating terrain, mature trees, and strategic use of the natural landscape to create a challenging layout. The course is characterized by numerous bunkers, undulating greens, tree-lined fairways, and water hazards that require thoughtful shot-making on every hole. Players note that the course plays long with prevailing winds adding to the challenge. The greens are consistently maintained to high standards, and the course presents a demanding test suitable for golfers of varying abilities. Established as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, Millicent Golf Club attracts over 1,000 members across men's, women's, and junior divisions.
