Golfclub Bad Kissingen e.V. is an 18-hole parkland course located in Bad Kissingen, Germany, with over 115 years of history. The course features a 6-hole layout alongside the main 18-hole design and comprehensive practice facilities. The Fränkische Saale river serves as a defining characteristic, running through the course and creating water hazards on multiple holes, particularly Holes 3, 4, and 8. The course presents challenges for all skill levels with well-designed hole variety. Notable holes include the par-5 7th (537m), the most difficult hole, which requires precise shot placement along the forest edge with an elevated green that slopes left. The par-4 6th features an elevated green defended by two strategically placed bunkers. Water crossings and forest hazards are recurring elements throughout the layout. The course is described as naturally integrated into its surroundings, offering an impressive golfing experience enhanced by the park-like landscape. The combination of the Saale river, woodland features, and bunker placements creates a challenging and visually appealing layout suitable for both casual golfers and competitive play.
