Weekly visitor competition held every Thursday. Participants must hold a recognised handicap to enter. Bookings are taken by phoning the Golf Shop; reservations open to visitors from the Saturday prior at 4pm through to the Thursday competition. The third Thursday of each month from September to March hosts the 'Red Belly Challenge', played from the championship layout set deep within natural bushland — this challenge is restricted to A grade golfers only. From 15 January 2026, the visitor competition fee is AUD $120 per person, in line with increases to social green fees.

St Michael's hosts regular club competitions including the St Michael's Cup and Senior Order of Merit, indicating an active competitive calendar.
