Senior Gents Open - Texas Scramble, a team competition for male golfers aged 55 and over. The format is a Texas Scramble with 4 drives to count for each player. The maximum playing handicap is 28. Players must be members of an affiliated golf club, hold a handicap index under the WHS system, and have played in three individual strokeplay (medal or Stableford) club competitions in the past 12 months. The entry fee is £35 per visitor (£25 per member), with a one-course meal included. Play is from the yellow tees. Online entry closes at midnight on 28 August 2026. The layout includes six par-3 holes, four par-5 holes, and eight par-4 holes, providing balanced variety. Notable holes include the par-5 seventh at 540 yards and the par-5 twelfth at 533 yards.
