Golfbaan De Hooge Rotterdamsche

Zuid-Holland, Netherlands

Golfbaan De Hooge Rotterdamsche is an 18-hole golf course located on a ridge approximately 25 meters high in the Rottemerengebied area on the northern side of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The course is characterized by its distinctive elevation changes, which are notably uncommon in the Dutch landscape and make it a unique challenge in the region. The course features highly varied and demanding holes that test both beginning golfers and low-handicap players. Its undulating terrain, with significant uphill and downhill sections, defines its primary character. The setting provides scenic views from the elevated portions overlooking the golf course and Rotterdam's skyline. De Hooge Rotterdamsche serves as the home course of Golf Club de Hooge Rotterdamsche and is notable as the base course of professional golfer Joost Luiten. The course maintains qualifying status and accommodates buggies on designated paths. An on-site brasserie offers dining facilities with panoramic views across the course and surrounding landscape.
