Overland Park Golf Course is steeped in Denver history as the original Denver Country Club and the oldest running course west of the Mississippi. Located minutes from downtown Denver at 1801 S. Huron Street, the course offers views of both the city and surrounding mountains. The 18-hole regulation course features narrow fairways and small, well-bunkered greens that present challenges for golfers of all skill levels. The layout demands precision shot-making due to its strategic hazard placement and compact green complexes. The course also includes a 3-hole junior golf course, a large grass driving range with chipping and putting greens, a pro shop, and an on-site restaurant. Overland Park's terrain reflects its mountain foothill setting with elevation changes throughout the layout. The course maintains high conditioning standards with well-maintained turf from tee boxes through bunkers and greens. Amenities include men's and women's rental club sets, making the course accessible to various player types. The facility operates under seasonal hours, with winter hours from 10 am to 4 pm and summer hours from sunrise to sunset.
