Calusa Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Nokomis, near Sarasota and Venice, Florida, accessible via the Tamiami Trail or I-75 (exit 195), close to Siesta Key. The course features beautiful wooded terrain set within an environmental community with homes positioned away from play. The layout weaves through diverse Florida landscape and wildlife, characterized by numerous pine and oak trees that create a distinctive mid-Atlantic aesthetic unusual to the region. The course incorporates rolling fairways and fair landing areas with new Champion Grass greens. Despite multiple lakes throughout the design, Calusa Lakes maintains a player-friendly layout suitable for golfers of all abilities. The course offers comprehensive facilities including an aqua range, putting green, full pro shop, and rental clubs, with both electric and pull carts available. The on-site grill provides lunch service from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the bar open daily until 5 p.m.
