Jekyll Island Golf Club operates three 18-hole courses on Georgia's Jekyll Island. Great Dunes is a newly restored Walter Travis design from 1927, featuring sweeping coastal views, strategic play, and classic Golden Age character. Pine Lakes is notably one of the few courses in the nation designed to provide even playing ground for both adults and younger players. Indian Mound, the shortest of the three 18-hole courses, is surrounded by natural landscape but offers considerable challenges despite its modest length. The courses wind through Jekyll Island's pristine lakes, marshes, and forests with minimal man-made obstructions. Players navigate natural hazards including the island's resident alligators, osprey, and deer. The setting emphasizes the integration of golf with the island's conservation focus, allowing golfers to experience the landscape's indigenous wildlife and natural features. The club hosts the annual Paulk Cup Classic tournament, honoring Georgia golf legend Johnny Paulk and his contributions to golf on Jekyll Island.
