The prestigious Greater New Milford Open tournament is returning after 38 years, featuring a lineup of the region's best amateur players and hundreds of spectators. Saturday and Sunday, August 8–9, 2026. 18 holes each day (36 total), stroke play, gross & net scoring. Expected field: 160 players. All players pay full entry fee of $180 with strict USGA rules & integrity enforcement. Features hole-by-hole score sheets, live digital leaderboard displays, player introductions at first tee, and 10-minute tee time intervals starting at 6:30 a.m. Senior flights played from senior tees. Live streaming, drone footage, and social media highlights included. Multiple prizes including pro shop credit, certificates, and sponsor-branded trophies. Portion of proceeds donated to local charities: Loaves & Fishes Hospitality House, The Animal Welfare Society, and Thrift Mart of New Milford.
