Sim's Furniture Mixed Open

Presented by Lyle & Wanda Blatz of Sim's Furniture, the Sim's Furniture Mixed Open is one of the most enjoyable events of the season at Olds Golf Club. Teams of two compete in a Modified Scotch Ball (Chapman) format over 18 holes. Both players tee off, then each player hits their partner's tee shot. After the second shots, the team selects the best ball — the player whose second shot was not selected will hit the third shot. From that point, the team plays alternate shot until the ball is holed. Flighted by handicap. Playing partner requests are accepted and the club will do its best to accommodate them. Start time: 9:00 AM Shotgun. Entry fees: Member $70 + GST; Non-Member $100 + GST. Includes golf, cart, continental breakfast, dinner, and prizes.
