2026 GolfBC Group BC Women's Open

The 5th annual GolfBC Group BC Women's Open is held at Nicklaus North Golf Course, Whistler, BC (June 11–13, 2026), and forms part of Golf Canada's She Plays Golf Championship Series. The event comprises two separate competitions: (1) 36-Hole Amateur Championship (June 11–12): open to amateur female golfers with a handicap index of 5.1 to 26.0; includes a separate Senior Amateur flight for players aged 55 and over; field limited to 40 players. (2) 54-Hole Open Championship (June 11–13): open to female Professionals and Elite Amateurs with a handicap index of 5.0 or better; field limited to 60 players; carries official World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points. Both divisions are played on the championship setup at Nicklaus North. Registration is through the Vancouver Golf Tour HUB; the final field is confirmed on 30 May 2026. Spots are limited and filled based on competitive criteria and player resume. Player perks include practice rounds and on-site amenities.

Prizes

The 54-Hole Open Championship carries a $60,000 CAD prize purse. The winner earns an exemption to compete in the 2026 CPKC Women's Open on the LPGA Tour (August 19–23, Royal Mayfair Golf & Country Club, Edmonton, Alberta). The top player at the end of the 2026 She Plays Golf Championship Series also qualifies for the 2026 CPKC Women's Open if not already qualified.
