An annual tournament held at Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango, Colorado, open to both amateur and professional golfers from around the country. The event benefits the Hillcrest Junior Golf Foundation. A pro-am is held on Thursday, followed by the 54-hole open competition running Friday through Sunday, with separate amateur and professional divisions. The Navajo Trail Open is the third oldest open tournament in Colorado, having started in 1960. The amateur division fills quickly; a waitlist is available if full. The well-manicured fairways and relaxed atmosphere contribute to its appeal as an affordable public golf course. Beyond the main layout, Hillcrest provides comprehensive practice facilities including a full-size driving range, putting green, and short-game practice areas. The facility features an indoor golf simulator equipped with 34 courses from around the world, available for year-round play with regular play, tournament modes, and practice options.
