Newlands Golf Club is a mature parkland course founded in 1910, located in Clondalkin, Dublin, approximately 13 kilometres from Dublin City Centre. Designed by Jeff Howes, the course is strategically positioned near the M50 and Naas Road, with views visible from Newlands Cross flyover. The course presents a balanced challenge for golfers of all levels. It features sufficient bailout areas for higher handicap players, while the mature trees, varied greens, and strategic hole placement provide considerable difficulty for lower handicap golfers. The design encourages players to utilize their full range of clubs and rewards shot-making precision regarding shape and distance control. Newlands maintains active membership across men's, ladies, and junior sections and regularly hosts weekly and weekend competitions.
