Asker Ladies Open

Asker Ladies Open takes place on Saturday 1 August 2026 at Asker Golfklubb (Høgåsveien 35, 1383 Asker). The competition is open to ladies from all clubs. There are three handicap classes: A-Class (handicap +8.0–20.0), B-Class (20.1–26.0), and C-Class (26.1–54.0); all age groups from 16 upwards are eligible. The round uses a shotgun start at 08:30 from tee 43. Scoring is by Maximum Score format (single round, individual), in which scores on each hole are capped at a set number of strokes over par (net +5). Full handicap allowance (100%) applies and the round is handicap-qualifying. In the event of a tie for first place, positions are decided first by lowest playing handicap, then mathematically (best of last 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, and 1 holes), and finally by draw. Entry fee is 450 NOK, which covers the start fee and shared terrace food at Høgås Café; green fee is an additional 500 NOK (free for full Asker GK members), payable at the pro shop. Maximum field size is 60 players on a first-come, first-served basis; a waiting list applies beyond 60 entries. Entry opens 1 May 2026 and closes 30 July 2026 at 12:00. The start fee is automatically refunded if withdrawal is made before entry closes; no refund is given for later withdrawals except in special circumstances upon application to the ladies' committee.

Prizes

Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the three classes (A, B, C), with additional prizes depending on the number of players. Longest Drive and Closest to Pin prizes also awarded. Random draw prizes available for all starters.
