Maguro Day Open Competition - Tojo Course

Open competition held on the Tojo Course at Tojo-no-Mori Country Club. Fresh natural southern tuna is shipped directly from Shimizu Port and awarded as a participation prize. Held across multiple dates in 2026: 11 May, 11 June, 10 July, and 10 August. Format is individual, scored using a 9-hole double-peoria handicap method with no handicap cap. Tie-breaks are decided first by lower handicap, then by older player. Results are announced at the front desk at settlement time; there is no awards ceremony. Entry fee for members is the standard member green fee plus ¥3,150 (tax included). Guest all-inclusive entry fee is ¥11,400 (tax included), covering one round of self-play and a special lunch. Fees include consumption tax, facility usage tax, a ¥20 promotion fund contribution, and a ¥30 KGU (Kansai Golf Union) cooperation fee, suggesting players should hold an official golf affiliation or handicap.
