Shandon Park Golf Club

County Down, Northern Ireland

Shandon Park Golf Club is a parkland course located in the leafy suburbs of East Belfast, approximately three miles from Belfast city centre. Founded in 1926, the club is celebrating its centenary year and has established itself as one of Ireland's most competitively successful golf clubs, winning 13 All Ireland Senior titles and back-to-back European Club titles in 2000 and 2001. The championship layout combines challenging golf with beautifully sculptured holes and offers great views of the city, Stormont Estate, and surrounding areas. The course is renowned for having some of the best parkland greens in Ireland. Tour speed summer greens and a clever layout create a formidable test of golf; the course record stands at six under par despite competition from world-class golfers. The course presents a tough championship challenge while maintaining scenic appeal and strategic design. The modern clubhouse features a welcoming lounge, bar, and restaurant overlooking the course. With over 1,000 golfing and social members, Shandon Park remains a thriving club and respected competitive venue in the Irish golfing landscape.
