One of seven qualification rounds in the KNAX KIDS OPEN 2026 series, held at Münchener Golf Club e.V. (two venues: Straßlach and Thalkirchen). Open to all junior golfers born in 2011 or later, in age classes AK8, AK10, and AK12. Play begins from 16:00. Stableford individual strokeplay over 9 holes, played from green Junior Tees (or KNAX-KIDS tee markers). The event is handicap-relevant under official DGV rules. Minimum eligibility: a course permit (Platzerlaubnis) or a Handicap Index of 54 or lower. A minimum of 30 participants per round is required for the event to take place. Entries must be submitted at least 2 days before the tournament (by 12:00 noon) via the Albatros booking system or the MGC website. A parent or accompanying adult must register simultaneously as a scorekeeper (Zähler); scorekeepers are assigned to groups by the tournament committee and must not be a family member of the child they are scoring for. Caddies are prohibited; parents and coaches may not intervene in play. Results are published on the MGC website within two working days of the event. There are two gross winners per round (one in AK12, one in AK10) and three net classes (A, B, C) each with three places. The top 11 finishers overall (2 gross winners plus places 1–3 in each net class) qualify for the grand finale on 18 October 2026 at the club's autumn festival.

The Straßlach course of Münchner Golf Club is a 27-hole parkland-style facility designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels through three 9-hole loops offering varied playing options. Founded in 1910, the club operates two courses in the Munich area, with Straßlach serving as its primary facility located at Tölzer Straße 95 in Straßlach. The layout provides flexible play without tee time reservations for members and guests. The course features winter greens to manage seasonal conditions during frost, snow, and ice. The parkland design integrates natural terrain characteristics typical of the Munich region, offering an engaging golfing experience. The facility includes practice amenities with a driving range. As part of the established Münchner Golf Club, the Straßlach course hosts competitive club championships and various tournaments throughout the year, supporting a membership of approximately 2,500 golfers. The venue also features clubhouse dining facilities complementing the sporting experience.
