The Clarencefield Trophy Open is a Ladies Open Singles competition held at Powfoot Golf Club on 7 August 2026. The event is open to ladies aged 60 and over. Format is 18-hole Stableford played off the Red Tees using the Red Stroke Index, with a 95% handicap allowance. Two divisions: Division 1 for playing handicaps -10 to 20, Division 2 for playing handicaps 21 to 36. Maximum handicap is 36. Tee times run from 11am to 1pm. To qualify for prizes, all players must be able to demonstrate they have completed at least one of the following from their home club in the past 12 months: played in 3 counting club competitions (singles); played 3 x 18-hole Registered General Play Scores; or played 3 x 9-hole Registered General Play Scores. Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification from prizes (medical exemptions may be considered). For late entries contact the office on 01461 204100. No refunds will be given for open competition cancellations, and no amendments to pairings can be made on the day.
