Golfclub Am Alten Fliess is a 27-hole championship course located in Bergheim-Fliesteden, approximately 20 minutes from Cologne. Set within the picturesque landscape of the Rhein-Erft district, the course offers commanding views of Cologne Cathedral. The facility encompasses 120 hectares and features three distinct nine-hole courses: the Red Course (Par 36, 2,996m from yellow tees), White Course (Par 36, 3,039m from yellow tees), and Yellow Course (Par 36, 3,015m from yellow tees), each offering varying levels of challenge.
The course is characterized by excellent maintenance with year-round high-quality greens and open fairways where wind significantly influences play. Design accommodates both demanding golfers and those seeking relaxation, with some challenging holes balanced by more forgiving sections. Notable features include double greens shared between holes 9 and 18, a halfway house with lake pavilion, two modern driving ranges with TrackMan4 technology, and an indoor golf lounge.
