Venue

Golf de Marolles

Île-de-France, France

Golf de Marolles-en-Brie is an 18-hole course located approximately 22 kilometers from central Paris in Île-de-France. The course is characterized by its tree-lined layout and traversed by the Réveillon river, creating a picturesque setting with a family-friendly atmosphere. The terrain is notably hilly and heavily wooded, presenting technical challenges despite wide fairways. The course features links-style characteristics with elevated greens that display multiple slopes and plateaus, requiring precision play. Players are advised to rely on iron shots from the tee rather than drivers, as the narrow passages between trees demand accuracy. The design encourages golfers of all levels to develop their short game skills within an attractive setting. The combination of undulating topography, strategic bunkering represented by sandy mounds, and demanding green complexes creates a course that tests both technical ability and course management. The layout balances playability for beginners with sufficient complexity to challenge experienced golfers, making it one of the more charming 18-hole courses in the Île-de-France region.
