Individual Stableford competition for golfers aged 55 and over, held at Bury St Edmunds Golf Club (Tut Hill, Fornham All Saints, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP28 6LG). Shotgun start at 9am. Played off the middle tees. Maximum Handicap Index of 22.6; players with a higher Handicap Index may enter but will play off 22.6 on the day. Entry fee includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, halfway house refreshments, and a 2-course buffet. Prizes for both visitors and members. Entries close 1 August 2026.

Bury St Edmunds Golf Club features two courses set in Suffolk. The 18-hole championship course, originally designed by Ted Ray (first British Ryder Cup captain and Open/US Open winner) in 1924, measures 6,676 yards off the white tees, making it the second longest in Suffolk. The course was originally 6,087 yards, considered notably long for a non-links layout at its inception. The club also operates a 9-hole pay-and-play course called Greene King. Located at Tut Hill, the championship course is recognized as a preferred venue for regional competitions due to its challenging nature and year-round playability. The club maintains high standards through its member-owned structure, reinvesting profits into course and facility improvements. Additional amenities include a Trackman driving range, clubhouse with panoramic course views, bar and catering facilities, and professional instruction.
