Golf de Chantilly features two 18-hole courses set within a 50-hectare park in Vineuil-Saint-Firmin, France. The Parcours de Vineuil (Old Course) was originally designed by English professional M. Taylor, then completely redesigned in 1920 by renowned architect Tom Simpson, reopening in 1932. The course stretches 6,000 meters and reflects Simpson's acclaimed design principles. The Parcours des Longères developed from a 9-hole layout expanded into an 18-hole championship course through collaboration between Jean-Louis Dupont and architect Donald Steel, with 13 new holes meeting international standards. The courses are characterized by diverse landscape features including roughs, hedgerows, copses, water hazards, and bunkers. The terrain follows seasonal variations, creating different playing conditions throughout the year. Notably, Golf de Chantilly prioritizes biodiversity conservation, with 50 hectares of natural zones hosting 39 rare or threatened species, including the emblematic winged broom plant and diverse bird populations that aid course maintenance naturally.
