The Somabay World Cup is a regional qualifying competition held on Sunday 21 June 2026 at Golf Blue Green Rodez Agglomération (main course), with staggered tee times from 09:00. The format is individual Stableford over 18 holes. Players compete in four mixed series based on World Handicap System index: 1st series (index below 15), 2nd series (15 to 23.9), 3rd series (24 to 35.9), and 4th series (36 to 54). Successful qualifiers from this regional round progress to a national final, and ultimately to an international final held at the Somabay resort in Egypt. Entry fees should be confirmed directly with the club. Registration opens 27 February 2026 and closes 20 June 2026. Online entry is available via the Tee1Golf platform.

Golf Bluegreen Rodez Agglomération is the only 18-hole golf course in Aveyron. Designed by Robert Berthet, it features a par 70 layout measuring 5,506 meters with moderate technical difficulty suitable for players of all skill levels. The course is characterized by rolling terrain offering exceptional views over the city of Rodez and surrounding countryside. The first fourteen holes are situated on a causse plateau, leading to a distinctive finishing sequence in the valley below. The course maintains consistent, high-quality upkeep throughout. Located in close proximity to Rodez city center in Onet le Château, the facility includes a practice range with short-game areas, clubhouse with bar and restaurant, and an on-site hotel at Château de Fontanges. A compact 6-hole course is also available for shorter rounds or practice purposes.
