The Compétition de classement + Somabay World Cup 3/5 takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Golf de Caen-Garcelles (main course), with staggered tee times from 09:30. The format is individual stableford over 18 holes. Entry is open to all golfers with an official handicap index up to 54. Competition is divided into four mixed categories: 1st series (index below 15), 2nd series (index 15–23.9), 3rd series (index 24–35.9), and 4th series (index 36–54). This event counts both as a ranking (classement) competition and as leg 3 of 5 in the Somabay World Cup 2026 series, a regional qualifying competition whose overall objective is qualification for a national final and an international final at Somabay, Egypt. Entry opens 31 January 2026 and closes 19 June 2026. Green fee for non-subscribers: full price €53.50, under-30s €37.00, under-18s €24.00. A play-rights fee (droits de jeu) of €7.00 per person applies in addition.

Golf de Caen-Garcelles is an 18-hole championship course located near Caen in Normandy, inaugurated in 1989 adjacent to a magnificent château. The main layout comprises two sections: Le Clos Neuf and Le Bois, forming a par-70 course stretching 5,716 meters with varied and technical routing that presents a genuine challenge accessible to golfers of all levels. The course features a diverse design with varied terrain throughout. Additionally, a 9-hole course called Le Parc has been developed to complement the main layout. The course is situated in the Calvados region approximately 6 kilometers from Caen, offering a picturesque setting within the Normandy landscape. The facility accommodates competitive play through organized tournaments and provides instruction programs for skill development.
