Shotgun de l'été 1 SWC takes place at Golf Grand Avignon (main course, 18 holes) on Monday 6 July 2026, with a shotgun start at 14:30. The format is individual stableford. This event is part of the Somabay World Cup (SWC) qualifying series. Players compete in separate categories by gender and handicap index: Men's 1st series (index below 11.4), Men's 2nd series (11.5–28.0), Men's 3rd series (28.1–54); Women's 1st series (index below 15.0), Women's 2nd series (15.1–28.0), Women's 3rd series (28.1–54). A valid WHS handicap index is required to be placed in a series. Entry opens 16 February 2026 and closes 5 July 2026. Registration must be arranged directly with the golf club or its association (A.S.). Green fees and entry fees should be confirmed with the club directly.

Golf Grand Avignon is an 18-hole course located in a verdant 60-hectare park in Vaucluse, Provence, surrounded by five lakes and typical Mediterranean vegetation. The layout includes water hazards on several opening shots, particularly at holes 1, 3, 4, 9, and 15, where mistral winds can present significant challenges. The course is well-maintained and playable 363 days per year, accessible to golfers of all levels.
