Bourges, Centre-Val de Loire, France
Golf de Bourges is an 18-hole championship course situated on 75 hectares in the Centre region of France, within the Cher department, just minutes from Bourges city centre and two hours from Paris. The course features a par 72 layout measuring 5,777 metres from the back tees, with a compact 9-hole course also available for training purposes.
Originally designed with 9 holes, the course was expanded to its current 18-hole layout in 1999 by architect Jean-Pascal Fourès. The terrain is characteristically wooded and undulating, presenting a varied palette of difficulties suitable for golfers of all levels. Water hazards feature prominently across multiple holes, adding strategic challenge throughout the course.
The facility includes a 40-station practice range with 10 covered positions, two putting greens, and two approach zones with bunkers. The course operates year-round with extended hours during the peak season from April to October. Additional amenities include a pro shop, restaurant, and golf academy offering instruction for both beginners and advanced players, as well as junior coaching programmes.
