Skipton Road
Barnoldswick, Lancashire, United Kingdom
Ghyll Golf Club is a members' club founded in 1907, located on the outskirts of Barnoldswick in Yorkshire. The course features 11 holes with nine in play at any one time, providing varying challenges to amateur golfers. Players can experience two different course combinations—the Tudor Course and the York Course—by playing from different tees. Two holes were constructed over the border in Lancashire during the 1990s.
The course design incorporates natural and strategic features including a stream, trees, a small pond, and strategically placed bunkers that provide interesting challenges on almost every hole. These elements offer multiple playing options and ensure a varied test of golfing ability. The club welcomes both members and visitors, maintaining a friendly atmosphere while hosting men's, ladies, and junior sections. Regular social events are held for members and non-members alike. The clubhouse includes a function room available for hire, and catering is provided by The Ravine.
