Located in the Vallée de Chevreuse in Gif-sur-Yvette, Essonne, approximately 30 minutes from Paris, Golf de Gif-Chevry is a 9-hole course designed by architect John Harris in 1976. The course integrates into a residential complex as an expansive landscaped garden featuring flowering massifs and numerous tree species lining the fairways. The layout comprises Par 3s (140-170m), Par 4s (310-410m), and a Par 5 return hole (430m). The course presents multiple challenges from the tee to well-defended greens protected by bunkers and water hazards. From the white tees, the course offers technical difficulty, while forward tees accommodate players of varying abilities. The nine holes are specifically designed to provide different routing for a full 18-hole experience. Key features include varied topography across the plateau setting and strategic water hazards. The course accommodates all skill levels while maintaining scenic appeal through its arboretum-style design. A 25-station practice range and short-game training area support player development. The facility includes a restaurant with terrace service and pro shop, along with professional instruction through the UGOLF Academy and a junior golf school for children from age 4.
