The 6th Summer Shotgun/SWC is an individual Stableford competition held over 18 holes on the Les Alpilles course at UGOLF Avignon Châteaublanc on Friday 14 August 2026. Play begins at 15:30 with a shotgun start. The event forms part of the Somabay World Cup (SWC) qualifying series, with the 2026 edition aiming to reach the national and international finals in Egypt. The total entry cost for visiting (non-subscriber) golfers is €71, comprising a €51 green fee and €20 competition entry fee (droits de jeu). Online registration opens on 10 February 2026 and closes on 13 August 2026. Results are visible to logged-in users.

UGOLF : Golf d'Avignon Châteaublanc

Golf d'Avignon Châteaublanc is situated on 77 hectares in the Vaucluse department of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur, approximately 10 minutes from Avignon city centre and 5 minutes from the A7 motorway. The course was designed by Thierry Sprecher and Gery, opening in 1987. The facility features two layouts. The 18-hole Les Alpilles course plays to par 72 over 6,104 metres, with a slope rating of 136 and standard scratch score of 73.3. This varied and relatively long layout demands power while remaining forgiving for moderate errors. The 9-hole Ventoux course plays to par 28 over 1,210 metres, specifically designed to develop short-game technique and approach shots. Practice facilities include 50 driving range positions (8 covered), two putting greens, and a chipping green. The course welcomes golfers of all ability levels through UGOLF Academy's instruction programs and children's golf school. Additional amenities include a restaurant, pro shop, meeting facilities, and equipment rental services.
