Description

The 6ème Shot Gun de l'Été/SWC takes place at UGOLF Golf d'Avignon Châteaublanc on August 14, 2026. This open competition welcomes golfers of all levels to compete in an individual format using Stableford scoring, where points are awarded based on net score performance at each hole rather than total strokes.

Golf d'Avignon Châteaublanc is situated on 77 hectares in the Vaucluse department of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur, approximately 10 minutes from Avignon city centre and 5 minutes from the A7 motorway. The course was designed by Thierry Sprecher and Gery, opening in 1987. The facility features two layouts. The 18-hole Les Alpilles course plays to par 72 over 6,104 metres, with a slope rating of 136 and standard scratch score of 73.3. This varied and relatively long layout demands power while remaining forgiving for moderate errors. The 9-hole Ventoux course plays to par 28 over 1,210 metres, specifically designed to develop short-game technique and approach shots. Practice facilities include 50 driving range positions (8 covered), two putting greens, and a chipping green. The course welcomes golfers of all ability levels through UGOLF Academy's instruction programs and children's golf school. Additional amenities include a restaurant, pro shop, meeting facilities, and equipment rental services.
