Lindrick Golf Club is one of Britain's finest inland golf courses, located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. According to members including Danny Willett (2016 US Masters winner) and Mark Foster (two-time English Amateur Champion), Lindrick demands solid ball-striking and strategic play to achieve good scores. Lindrick holds significant tournament history as host to the 1957 Ryder Cup, where Great Britain and Ireland defeated the USA, ending a 24-year American dominance in the competition. This victory remained historically notable until Europe's next Ryder Cup win in 1985 at the Belfry. The club's heritage and consistent presentation make it a respected venue within British golf.
