Pines Crossing Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Auburn, Alabama, adjacent to Opelika. The course was recently redesigned by golf course architect Bill Bergin and features a par 72 layout measuring 7,031 yards. It is equipped with TifEagle greens and TifTuf fairways, offering multiple tee options to accommodate players of all skill levels. The course was established in 1976 and has been operated as a municipal course by the cities of Auburn and Opelika since that time. Following a clubhouse fire, a new clubhouse was constructed in 2006. In 2005, Golf Digest recognized Auburn as the "best golf city in America," citing Pines Crossing among its notable courses. Pines Crossing features a newly designed practice facility and short game area. The course maintains cart path only restrictions on all par 3 holes and prohibits carts in native grass areas. Notable events hosted at the course include the Bill Hall Memorial Invitational, an amateur tournament that draws approximately 200 participants annually.
