The Stoke Bell is a ladies four ball betterball competition held at Porthmadog Golf Club, Morfa Bychan, Porthmadog, Gwynedd, LL49 9UU on 29 June 2026. Teams consist of two players. Tee times run from 08:00 to 14:00. The visitor entry fee is £20.00 per team, payable online at the time of booking. Players must hold a ladies handicap of 36 or under, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent standard of play. A smart casual dress code applies on the course and in the clubhouse; jeans, trainers, collarless shirts, and sports vests are not permitted. Cancellations made more than two weeks before the event date are eligible for a full credit; cancellations within two weeks incur a 50% charge, and failure to cancel will result in a 100% charge.

Porthmadog Golf Club is a traditional links course established in 1905 by renowned designer James Braid, located in Morfa Bychan, 3 miles from the harbour town of Porthmadog in Wales. The course features 18 holes with the front nine predominantly heathland and the back nine true links terrain, offering stunning views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia mountains. The layout combines challenging links characteristics with a friendly, approachable design that appeals to players of varying abilities. The course celebrated 100 years of golfing excellence in 2005, testament to Braid's enduring design. On-site facilities include two practice grounds, a practice net, and putting green. Electric trolleys, pull trolleys, and buggies are available for hire. The clubhouse provides comfortable amenities, including five dormy rooms offering accommodation for visiting golfers and societies. The surrounding area provides additional recreational opportunities beyond golf, including access to Snowdonia National Park and nearby attractions such as Portmeirion village.
