Riviera Country Club (Ormond Beach)

Ormond Beach, FL, United States

Riviera Country Club, established in 1953, is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course located in Ormond Beach, Florida. Known as "the friendly club," it offers a relaxed, inviting atmosphere prioritizing genuine hospitality and accessibility. The course features beautifully manicured fairways and greens in excellent condition, with a layout characterized by tight fairways and small, moderately fast greens that provide a notable challenge despite the course's modest length. The design creates difficulty through strategic placement rather than distance, making it engaging for golfers of all skill levels. The course operates without tee times, allowing players to golf at their own pace on a first-come, first-served basis. Previously recognized by Golf Digest as one of the "Best Places to Play," Riviera Country Club combines quality conditioning with an approachable setting. The facility includes a pro shop carrying major brands and on-site instruction, complemented by a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Its reputation as a hidden gem appeals particularly to golfers seeking a well-maintained championship experience with character and accessibility in the Daytona area.
