The Junior Open takes place at Cardiff Golf Club in Cardiff, United Kingdom on Wednesday 26th August 2026. This individual competition is split into three handicap bands: Strokeplay for handicaps up to 12 (with Stableford scoring), Stableford for handicaps 13-36 (scoring off the yellow tees), and Stableford for handicaps 37-54 (10 holes from the blue tees). Girls compete in the same categories, playing off the red tees for the first two competitions. The event is open to both men and ladies. Tee times are available from 8am to 2:30pm. The entry fee is £15.00 per player, payable in advance to secure a place. The competition includes a meal, with straightest drive on hole 8 and nearest the pin on hole 5. Handicap allowance is 95%.
