The Wallace Rosebowl Open and Rosebud Trophy Open are two concurrent ladies open competitions held at Kirkcudbright Golf Club on 8 August 2026. The Wallace Rosebowl is an 18-hole singles strokeplay competition with a maximum playing handicap of 38. The Rosebud Trophy is a 9-hole stableford competition open to players with a handicap index of 30–54 (maximum playing handicap 29). Both handicap and scratch prizes are available for the Wallace Rosebowl; the same player cannot win both. Thai meals are available if booked by 12:00 noon, served no later than 4:30pm. Light bites are also available. The club does not hold an alcohol licence but soft drinks are available; players are welcome to bring their own alcohol. Entry is available online via the club's dotgolf booking system. A separate entry is required for each competition.
