Sundridge Park Golf Club is a prestigious 36-hole championship course located seven miles south of London in Bromley, Kent. The club comprises two 18-hole courses—the East and West—both designed to weave through majestic woodland and set within the grounds of a Grade 1 listed mansion, creating a historic and picturesque setting. Both courses present a fair but challenging test of golf, featuring stylish bunkering, large subtly sloping greens, and consistently high-quality greenkeeping. The East Course is ranked 21st in Golf World's Top 100 courses in London. The layout accommodates golfers of varying abilities while maintaining championship standards. Founded in 1901, Sundridge Park hosts significant amateur tournaments annually and served as a qualifying venue for The Open Championship. The club's heritage includes notable achievements: A.J. Balfour officially opened the course, club professional Alf Padgham won The Open in 1936, and member Alfie Plant won the European Amateur and Silver Medal at The Open in 2017. The woodland setting provides excellent views across both courses, while the Grade 1 listed clubhouse offers comprehensive facilities including dining and function spaces overlooking the West Course.
