The Senior Scratch Open Championship is a 36-hole individual strokeplay event played across the Red and Blue Courses at Frilford Heath Golf Club. Players are 55 years or older as of the competition start date. Day 1 (Thursday 16th July 2026) is played on the Red Course in reverse handicap order, and Day 2 (Friday 17th July 2026) on the Blue Course. The event uses a scratch medal format with 95% handicap allowance. Entry fee is £145 per visitor, which includes buffet brunch on arrival for Day 1, breakfast buffet for Day 2, and a two-course meal. The maximum playing handicap is 12. Entries are accepted online, with a deadline of 23:59 on Friday 10th July 2026. In the event of a tie after 36 holes, a sudden death play-off takes place on the par-3 9th hole of the Red Course. The event is open to men aged 55 and over, with a maximum of 78 entries.
