Four-day individual strokeplay and team competition held at Ljusdals GK, Wednesday 22 July to Saturday 25 July 2026. Open to players born in 2008 or earlier. Three classes (A, B, C). Also includes a 3-person team event; team entry fee is included in the standard entry fee, and teams must be registered by Sunday 19 July by emailing kansli@golfiljusdal.nu with all members' golf IDs and a team name. A cut is applied after three days (Thursday): the top 30 players (plus ties) in each class and half of all teams advance to Saturday's play. Players whose team qualifies for Saturday but who individually missed the cut are permitted to play for their team on Saturday and compete for Saturday's daily prizes. The draw is done by class with varying start order each day; approximate tee-time blocks are 07:00–10:00, 10:00–13:00, and 13:00–16:00. Maximum handicap is 36.0; players entering with a higher handicap will be reduced to 36.0 for the competition. Handicap adjustments are applied daily after each round, but players remain in their original class throughout. Entry fee is 1,700 SEK, which includes participation in the team event and HIO insurance. An optional competition green fee of 500 SEK applies; full members of Hudiksvall, Bollnäs, and Söderhamn golf clubs are exempt from this green fee under a reciprocal agreement. Payment deadline is 8 July, payable via bankgiro (838-8944), Swish (123 453 5043), or through MinGolf — quote 'Wira Medical Masters' and your golf ID. Entry registration opens 1 March. A golf buggy may only be used with a medical certificate; caddies are not permitted. A prize table is held with sponsors each evening (Wednesday to Saturday) at the golf restaurant, including sponsor lottery draws (daily prize winners are excluded from the lottery). The competition concludes with a Saturday banquet. The first player to make a hole-in-one during the competition wins a trip to the spring 2027 final event; if no hole-in-one is made, the trip is raffled among participants at the Saturday banquet. In the event of lightning or severe weather, a signal will sound — players must mark their ball and stop play; the round may be cancelled in extreme conditions. The overall winners (1st and 2nd in each class, plus the winning team) qualify for a three-day individual strokeplay final held in spring 2027. A player who qualifies for the final through both individual and team play may only use their team final place; their individual final place passes to the next-placed player.
Prizes
Daily prizes Wednesday to Saturday in association with event sponsors. First player to make a hole-in-one during the competition wins a trip to the spring 2027 final event. If no hole-in-one is recorded, the trip is raffled among all participants at the Saturday banquet. Additional hole-in-one prizes: free entry to the following year's competition. Top finalists (1st and 2nd in each class, plus the winning team) compete in a three-day individual strokeplay final in spring 2027.
