Täby Golfklubb was founded in 1968 and became member number 109 of the Swedish Golf Federation in 1969. The course was constructed between 1969-1972 by renowned Swedish course architect Nils Sköld, who designed the layout to work harmoniously with the natural landscape.
The facility encompasses 88 hectares and features an 18-hole championship course and a short course. The club is currently undergoing significant development, including the construction of a new 18th green, practice green, and putting green set to open in the upcoming season. Major renovations are also underway at the clubhouse, with a completely new kitchen for the restaurant planned for completion before the 2026 season.
Täby GK is particularly proud of its junior program, "Team Täby," which serves nearly 200 children and juniors annually. The program emphasizes enjoyment, community, and quality instruction with trained coaches and youth leaders. The club offers comprehensive training through its Täby Golf Academy, including private lessons, group training, custom fitting, and simulator golf facilities.
The course hosts regular competitions including Wednesday ladies' golf and Thursday gentlemen's golf events, alongside a comprehensive tournament calendar.
