The Rut Niblick Senior Open is a prestigious 18-hole singles strokeplay competition for senior golfers (55+) at Pleasington Golf Club. The field is strictly limited to 120 players, so early entry is advisable; if the timesheet is full, contact the club office to join the reserve list. Maximum Handicap is 28 (CDH proof required) with full handicap allowance. Entry fee is £55 per player. Practice rounds are available for £35 per person (book with the Office or Pro Shop at 01254 202177). Six buggies are available for hire, subject to advance booking through the Pro Shop. Prizes include 15 awards: Best Gross Overall (Rut Niblick Champion), 2nd and 3rd overall Gross prizes, and 12 Nett Stableford prizes based on age categories. No player may win more than one prize. Full catering is available throughout the day, including breakfast and snacks before play and full meals after play.
