Founded in 1926, the course features a par 68 layout with a balanced design incorporating both challenging and accessible holes. The course is characterized by imaginative use of water hazards and sand bunkers that demand strategic play. Straight driving and effective course management are essential, as the par of 68 proves challenging despite its welcoming nature. Local golf architect David Jones has redesigned several holes, emphasizing subtle greens constructed to USGA standards and liberal incorporation of water features throughout. The scenic shoreline setting provides an attractive natural backdrop, while the parkland terrain offers a pleasant golfing environment. The current course record stands at 64, reflecting the course's competitive difficulty.
