The Lake Club Benoni is an 18-hole parkland-style golf course located in Benoni on the East Rand of Johannesburg, Gauteng. The course is renowned for its exceptional greens, which present distinct challenges to golfers of all skill levels. The closing four holes, known as "Amen Corner," are particularly demanding and have been the undoing of many promising rounds. Set within picturesque grounds overlooking a lake, the course offers a scenic landscape that defines the parkland experience. The opening hole provides an accurate introduction to the layout that follows. Beyond the golf course, The Lake Club Benoni functions as a comprehensive sports and leisure facility. It features a state-of-the-art undercover driving range, two well-maintained bowling greens, and four squash courts. The clubhouse includes two bars, three function rooms, and dining facilities including Joe's Grill and Pizzeria. The venue also houses the AstroPlex Sports Arena, positioning it as a full-service recreational club that extends well beyond golf.
