Located on the northwest outskirts of Chicago in Huntley, Illinois, Pinecrest Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course spanning 130 acres. Opened in 1972 and owned by the Huntley Park District since 2003, the course is open to the public and managed by Landscapes Golf Management.
The layout features five lakes and 63 sand bunkers integrated throughout the design, with numerous maturing trees providing definition. These natural elements create a challenging yet accessible experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course's maturation since its original opening has enhanced its character and visual appeal, with the tree-lined fairways and water hazards becoming increasingly prominent features.
Pinecrest accommodates various golf activities including daily public rounds, organized leagues, tournaments, and outings. The facility also offers golf instruction, junior golf programs, and indoor golf simulators for winter play. Beyond golf, the course features a banquet facility capable of hosting up to 200 guests for events, weddings, and private functions. The property includes on-site dining at The Grille, making it a comprehensive recreational destination in one of the Chicago area's growing communities.
