Jonathan Scott Cundiff Memorial Golf Outing

A charity memorial golf outing held at Pinecrest Golf Club, Huntley, IL in honour of Jonathan Scott Cundiff (January 3, 1986 – February 26, 2018), a US Army Military Police veteran. Funds raised support Darkhorse Lodge, a non-profit retreat for combat veterans on Kentucky Lake. Open to the public; singles, twosomes, threesomes, and foursomes are all welcome. Format is a four-person scramble (shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.). A two-putt maximum is in effect: if a first putt from the green is missed, the next shot is a gimme with a stroke added regardless of distance. Entry fee is $150 per person and includes 18 holes with cart, free range balls, putting contest entry, 10K hole-in-one contest entry (Hole 6), a hot dog or brat with chips and a drink at the turn, and an Italian Buffet Dinner. A dinner-only option is available via the signup form. 50/50 Helicopter Ball Drop raffle tickets may be purchased separately at check-in or in advance ($20 for 1 ball, $50 for 3, $100 for 8); need not be present to win. Schedule: check-in and free range balls 7:00–8:30 a.m.; Putting Contest 7:00–8:30 a.m.; National Anthem and Presenting of Colors 8:45 a.m.; Shotgun Start 9:00 a.m.; 18 holes 9:00 a.m.–2:15 p.m.; Helicopter Ball Drop 2:30 p.m.; Dinner and Silent Auction 2:45 p.m.; Contest winners announced and Darkhorse information 3:30 p.m.; Silent Auction closes 4:00 p.m.
