Golf- und Landclub Ennstal Weissenbach is an 18-hole golf course located in Weissenbach-Lassing-Liezen in Styria, Austria. Founded in 1977, it is the third-oldest golf club in Styria and the twentieth in Austria. The course underwent significant redesign in 2006, improving its quality substantially. A distinguishing feature is that it is Europe's only golf facility situated within a Natura 2000 protected area, making environmental conservation a central aspect of its operations.
The course has evolved through multiple configurations, including a unique 16-hole layout between 1996 and 2000 before becoming an 18-hole course in 2001. The facility emphasizes ecological diversity and sustainability, with dedicated information about flora, fauna, and environmental projects available to visitors. The course is characterized by its natural landscape setting and commitment to biodiversity preservation within the protected conservation area.
The club offers attractive packages in partnership with local hotels and provides various greenfee specials, including senior rates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and ladies' day on Wednesdays. The facility hosts regular tournaments and maintains an active competitive program for members throughout the season.
